Our murals bring warmth, creativity, and conversation to senior living spaces, transforming bland walls into inspiring focal points that brighten the environment and make it more welcoming. The process is collaborative, and when appropriate, residents can even take part in the painting experience.
Role Summary: Muralist
The is hired to paint our designs on large-scale walls or doors to enhance senior living communities. You’ll work closely with the direction of Kimberley and the Young at Heart team to carefully execute the mural design on the wall.

Role Summary: Muralist
The is hired to paint our designs on large-scale walls or doors to enhance senior living communities. You’ll work closely with the direction of Kimberley and the Young at Heart team to carefully execute the mural design on the wall.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared with all required paint, brushes, supplies, and tools.
- Prepare surfaces as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite during the project.
- Work from Young at heart approved designs and transfer to wall area.
- Ensure the space is clean and ready at the end of each workday.
- Work within the schedule and timeframe
Resident Engagement
- Create a positive and respectful environment while working in senior living communities.
- Invite residents to observe, and when appropriate, they can participate in small parts of the mural process.
- Represent Young at Heart with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain consistent communication with the area manager Kimberley or project lead.
- Share progress photos and updates throughout the project.
- 3+ years of painting experience, mural experience preferred.
- Strong drawing, painting, and composition skills.
- Confident working on large surfaces.
- Reliable vehicle for travel
- Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with Kimberley or project lead
- Dependable, punctual, and self-directed.
