🧾 Terms and Conditions

Young at Heart Painting – Terms & ConditionsThese Terms & Conditions govern all services, events, and activities provided by Young at Heart Painting. By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. Minimum Attendance Policy
For all community/company events, a minimum charge of 10 participants applies, regardless of the actual number of attendees. If fewer than 10 attend, you will still be invoiced for 10.

2. Cancellation PolicySenior Sessions (Monthly Programs)
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice will not be charged.
  • Health outbreaks: Sessions must be rescheduled within 30 days. If not rescheduled, a $100 cancellation fee applies.
Community/Company Events
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice will only be charged for supplies purchased or work completed.

3. Client No-Show / Failure to Host
If Young at Heart Painting arrives for a scheduled event or session and the location is not prepared, is unaware of the booking, denies entry, or otherwise cannot host:
Senior Sessions (Monthly Programs)
  • The session is treated as a same-day cancellation and charged a $100 fee.
  • The session must be rescheduled within 30 days.
  • If the session is not rescheduled within 30 days, the full session fee becomes due.
Community/Company Events
  • The event is treated as a same-day cancellation, and 25% of the event total will be charged.
  • Any supply costs already purchased for the event will be invoiced.
  • If the event is not rescheduled within 30 days, the full event amount (including the 10-participant minimum) becomes due.
This policy compensates for travel, artist time, preparation, and administrative work already completed.

4. Payment Terms
  • Invoices are due upon receipt, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance is invoiced on the day of the event.

5. Late Payments
  • Payments not received within 30 days of the invoice date are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee (18% annually) or the maximum allowed by law.
  • Clients are responsible for any collection costs resulting from late or unpaid invoices.

6. Independent Subcontractors
All Young at Heart Painting artists are independent subcontractors. They are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and professional obligations.
Clients may not bypass Young at Heart Painting by booking subcontractors directly. All future bookings must be arranged through the company.

7. Liability
Young at Heart Painting is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during events. Participation is at attendees’ own risk.

8. Changes to Terms
Young at Heart Painting may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
