Alien Girl

This one is called “Alien Girl”. She is the largest of the paintings. I painted her in San Diego, California. Every day in San Diego the community goes to the beach to watch sunset. They all gather with blankets, their dogs and get cozy at the oceans edge.
When I looked at all the hundreds of people sitting gazing at the sunset on the beach, it looked like they were staring at the sunset as if aliens were coming down to the planet. So I call her Alien girl. I loved using all the different bright colours.
