Qualifications
- PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED!
- Reliable transportation is a MUST!
- You will be working with the public and we need your very best foot forward!
- 3 years painting experience preferred
- Must be able to facilitate step-by-step painting
- Good positive “can-do” attitude
- Bonus: Experience working with seniors
Responsibilities
- As an art instructor, you will teach a class of 5 up to 20 people
- Classes length is approximately 1-1.5 hours
- Must be early to set up and start the class on time
- You guide them through painting a picture from start to finish
- Provide participants assistance if someone needs support
- You will be offered an opportunity to teach one of your own paintings
- Setting up and taking down, setting out tablecloths, filling paints in pallets, filling water cups, clean up afterwards including washing brushes
- Make sure activity room is left clean and tidy
